What is BIM (Building Information Modeling)
The most common type of BIM software is called Building Information Modeling (BIM). BIM allows architects, engineers, contractors, and others involved in building projects to collaborate using digital models. These models allow them to share information and work efficiently. BIM software is used to create 3D models of buildings, bridges, roads, and other structures. A model can be created from a 2D drawing or scanned directly from the real world. Once the model has been created, it can be shared among team members.
